How Our Network Works
Who Answers
Calls and form requests reach an independent roofing provider who serves the Wichita area, or a partner who connects homeowners with those providers. No one on your roof is a Goalluck Roofing employee. The inspector and the crew work for the provider's company.
What the First Conversation Covers
Expect four questions:
- Where is the property?
- What is the problem: leak, missing shingles, hail marks or an old roof?
- Is water entering now?
- How old is the roof?
The provider then schedules an inspection. You can ask about pricing method, inspection length and next steps. You are not committing to anything.
Questions to Ask a Provider
Use this list at the inspection:
1. Proof of liability and workers' compensation insurance? 2. Any license required for this work here? 3. Tear-off of all layers included? 4. Per-sheet price for deck repair? 5. Permit included, and who pulls it? 6. Shingle brand and line being quoted? 7. Workmanship warranty length, in writing? 8. Payment schedule?
Clear, written answers are the standard. Vague answers are a reason to compare further.
Task Split, Restated
Homeowner: ground photos, attic checks, records, moving cars and patio items. Provider: everything on the roof. That split keeps first-time homeowners safe.
Control Stays With You
Compare estimates, take time and ask follow-up questions. You decide.
Red Flags During the Inspection
Watch for these signs:
- A price that is only valid if you sign during the visit
- A request for full or most of the payment before materials arrive
- No written estimate, or one with a single total and no line items
- No proof of insurance and no local business address
- An offer to cover or waive your insurance deductible
Any one of these is a reason to pause and compare with another provider. A careful provider expects questions and answers them in writing, without hurrying you.
